Cross-disciplinary Connections

The SQL programming class that I took had many cross-disciplinary connections to other courses that I was taking. For example, in my data science course, we were learning about how to use SQL to analyze data, and the SQL programming class gave me a deeper understanding of how to use these skills. In my business course, we were learning about how to use data to make better business decisions, and the SQL programming class gave me the tools to collect and analyze the data I needed.

Broader Applicability

The knowledge and skills that I learned in the SQL programming class have a wide range of applications outside of school. For example, I could use these skills to get a job as a data analyst or a business analyst. I could also use these skills to start my own business or to volunteer my time to a nonprofit organization.

Personal Life Connection

The SQL programming class has also had a positive impact on my personal life. I am now more organized and efficient in my personal finances. I am also able to find and filter information more easily, which has helped me to make better decisions about my health and well-being.

Students as Learners

I learned a lot about myself as a learner in the SQL programming class. I learned that I am good at problem-solving and debugging. I also learned that I am good at learning new things, even if they are challenging. I am proud of the progress I made in the class, and I am excited to continue learning and growing as a SQL programmer.
